Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your leather trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Initial Setup: Ensure the laces are adjusted to your specific foot volume before the first wear. Avoid overtightening as the leather will soften.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather-specific cleaner and wipe gently with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash, as the water and agitation can damage the leather finish.
- Conditioning: Use a leather conditioner periodically to prevent the upper from drying out or cracking.
- Storage: Keep shoes in a cool, dry area away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to stiffen and the insole materials to degrade.
