FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
Yes, the Galaxy 8 series is designed for active movement and provides sufficient cushioning and grip for running and general play.
Can I put these shoes in the washing machine?
No, machine washing can cause the structure of the shoe and the foam cushioning to break down. Stick to hand cleaning with a damp cloth.
Is the sole really non-marking?
Yes, the rubber compound used in the outsole is specifically formulated to be non-marking, making them safe for school sports halls.
Are these trainers true to size?
Most users find the Galaxy 8 fits true to standard UK sizing, though it is always best to measure your child's foot length against our size chart.
Do these provide arch support?
The Cloudfoam midsole provides anatomical comfort, but they are standard trainers and not orthopedic corrective footwear.
Troubleshooting
Laces constantly coming untied during play
Double-knot the laces or swap them for higher-friction laces if necessary.
Accumulated dirt in the mesh weave
Allow the mud to dry completely and then use a soft-bristled brush to gently knock the debris out of the mesh holes.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your adidas Galaxy 8 Trainers, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: Use a standard UK sizing guide to ensure an appropriate fit with room for natural foot swelling throughout the day.
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to remove surface dirt. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can damage the foam midsole and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are securely tied before activity to maintain proper foot alignment and prevent tripping.
