Product Information

Full details

This premium photo frame is ideal for anyone looking to elegantly display cherished memories, photographs, or artwork in both landscape and portrait orientations. Its key benefit lies in its high-quality construction with a clear, shatterproof acrylic sheet and durable MDF moulding, offering a safer alternative to glass. A potential caveat is that larger frames (over 12 inches) include only a wall hook, requiring separate consideration for freestanding display.

Extended Product Information

FAQs

What material is the front of the frame made from?

The front is made from a high-quality, clear, shatterproof acrylic Perspex sheet, which is a safer and more eco-friendly alternative to glass.

Can I hang the frame both vertically and horizontally?

Yes, all frames can be wall-mounted and are designed to be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation.

What is included for mounting larger frames?

Frames larger than 12 inches come with a wall hook only. Frames smaller than 12 inches include both a back stand and a wall hook.

How do I clean the Perspex sheet?

Clean the Perspex sheet using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could cause damage.

Are custom sizes available?

Yes, custom sizes can be made. Please contact the seller directly for more information and to arrange a custom order.

What are the dimensions of the frame moulding?

The width of the frame moulding is approximately 30mm, and the depth is approximately 15mm.

Does the frame come with a mount?

The product description does not explicitly mention a mount as standard, but some variations like 'Wooden Effect Photo Frames - White Frame with White Mount' do include one. Please check the specific product title for details on mounts.

Troubleshooting

Perspex sheet is cloudy or scratched upon arrival.

Ensure both protective films have been completely peeled off from both sides of the Perspex sheet. If scratches persist after film removal, contact customer support.

Frame does not stand or hang properly.

Verify that the back stand (for frames under 12 inches) is correctly deployed or that the wall hook is securely attached to the wall. Ensure the frame is correctly assembled.

Picture does not fit the frame.

Confirm that the frame size ordered matches the size of the picture. Note that frame sizes are typically for the picture size itself, not the outer dimensions of the frame.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Shatterproof acrylic front is safer than glass.
Durable MDF moulding ensures longevity.
Suitable for wall mounting in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Available in a variety of colours to match decor.
Custom size options offer flexibility.

Cons

Frames larger than 12 inches only include a wall hook.
Perspex sheet requires removal of protective films before use.
Moulding width (30mm) and depth (15mm) may be too substantial for some minimalist preferences.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Carefully open the frame and remove any packaging materials.
Gently peel off the protective films from *both sides* of the clear Perspex sheet.
Insert your photograph or artwork, ensuring it fits correctly within the frame dimensions.
Reassemble the frame, securing the back panel.
For wall mounting, use the provided hook(s). For frames under 12 inches, the back stand can be deployed for tabletop display.

Compatibility:

Designed to fit standard picture sizes corresponding to the frame dimensions (e.g., an A2 frame fits an A2 picture).
Suitable for photographs, posters, prints, and artwork.
Available in various colours (Black, Oak, White, Walnut, Silver, Wooden, Grey) to complement different interior designs.

Care:

Clean the Perspex sheet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
Wipe the frame moulding with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Ensure the frame is kept away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight to prevent damage to the material and preserve print colours.
