The 740 is a lifestyle trainer inspired by heritage running shoes. While comfortable for walking and casual activities, they are not intended for serious athletic running.
These trainers use standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to use your typical sneaker size as a reference.
It is not recommended to machine wash your shoes, as this can damage the materials and structural adhesives.
No, the open knit mesh upper is designed for breathability and is not waterproof.
Yes, the 740 series is designed as a unisex model.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading and material degradation.
Use a soft brush to gently remove loose dust and a damp cloth with mild soap for stubborn stains.
This is normal for fabric and mesh footwear; store with shoe trees to help maintain shape when not in use.
Foot swelling is common; ensure the laces are adjusted to accommodate natural expansion throughout the day.
To ensure your New Balance 740 trainers remain in optimal condition, treat them as lifestyle footwear. Avoid submersing them in water or using harsh detergents. Instead, spot-clean the mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution if needed. For the midsole, a soft-bristled brush can help remove dried dirt. Because these are unisex trainers, check the size conversion charts to ensure a proper fit; they typically follow standard UK adult sizing. Allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the adhesive and materials.
