The Seafaring Coat is designed as a windproof and protective layer suitable for unpredictable weather, offering significant protection against light to moderate rain.
It is a lightweight piece. In colder months, it is highly recommended to wear a warm sweater or insulating layer underneath.
Follow the instructions on the garment's internal care label. Typically, a gentle machine cycle or hand wash with mild soap is recommended.
No, the hood is integrated into the coat design to ensure better wind and rain protection.
Yes, the coat is constructed with breathable fabric, making it comfortable for active wear without causing overheating.
Hang the coat in a steam-filled bathroom for 10-15 minutes or use a gentle fabric steamer.
Re-apply a wash-in or spray-on fabric water-proofer compatible with cotton garments to restore the finish.
To keep your Seafaring Coat in optimal condition, refer to the interior care label for specific washing instructions. Given the cotton construction, avoid harsh detergents that may strip the protective finish. For day-to-day maintenance, shake off excess water after rain and store it on a wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the jacket's shape. If the fabric becomes saturated, always air dry it in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the performance fibers.
