The Frankie Borg is designed for warmth and insulation, but it is not specifically rated as windproof.
Yes, its material makes a great mid-layer, but ensure your waterproof jacket has a relaxed fit to accommodate the volume of the fleece.
The design focuses on a clean silhouette with a half-zip; please check the specific model internal label to confirm pocket placement.
The fleece has a relaxed fit, so stick to your standard size for a comfortable, roomy feel.
While fleece is generally breathable, the thick borg fabric is designed primarily to trap heat.
Use a fabric shaver or lint remover gently after washing to remove surface bobbles.
Ensure you are not using fabric conditioner, as this coats the fibers and reduces their natural fluffiness.
To maintain the softness of the borg fleece, machine wash it on a cool cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the insulating properties of the synthetic fibers over time. Hang dry whenever possible to preserve the shape and texture of the material. This garment is highly compatible with casual jeans, leggings, or hiking trousers, making it a staple piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
