The Regatta Skander swim shorts are designed for kids, with sizes typically ranging from young children up to around 14 years old, depending on the specific size availability.
These shorts are designed for general leisure and beachwear. For competitive swimming, specialized swimwear with a more streamlined fit is recommended.
Refer to the size guide provided by Regatta or the retailer. The product information states this specific item is a UK size 10 for children.
The mesh brief liner is typically integrated into the shorts and is not designed to be removed.
The main benefits are its lightweight nature and its ability to dry very quickly after getting wet.
No, the Regatta Skander swim shorts feature an elasticated waistband for comfort and ease of wear, but they do not have a drawstring for adjustment.
They can be machine washed at 40°C and tumble dried on a low heat setting. Avoid bleach and dry cleaning.
Ensure the correct size has been purchased. As there is no drawstring, consider the elasticated waistband's stretch. For a looser fit, sizing up might be an option if available.
This is normal for standard swimwear pockets. Shake excess water from the pockets after swimming. The fabric is designed to dry quickly once exposed to air.
Ensure the mesh liner is correctly positioned. If discomfort persists, it may be a personal preference; consider if this style of liner is suitable for the wearer.
Setup:
These shorts require no setup; they are ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility:
Suitable for all genders and ages within the specified size range. Ideal for swimming, beach trips, holidays, and general summer wear.
