The adidas Originals Handball Spezial Trainers are designed for infants who need a blend of heritage style and practical comfort for their developing feet. These trainers feature a flexible suede construction that supports daily movement while maintaining the iconic aesthetic of classic court footwear. A key benefit is the user-friendly design featuring elastic laces and a stretchy collar, though parents should note that the soft suede material requires careful maintenance to keep the vibrant purple finish looking its best.

No, it is not recommended to wash suede trainers in a machine as it can permanently damage the material and construction.
No, these trainers feature elastic laces designed to be slipped on and off without the need for manual tying.
Suede is naturally porous and not waterproof. It is advisable to avoid wearing these in heavy rain or wet conditions.
The soft suede and stretchy collar provide a more accommodating fit than rigid leather shoes, which often helps with slightly wider feet.
Ensure there is a small amount of space (about a thumb's width) at the toe to accommodate growing feet and natural movement.
The collar is designed to be stretchy, but ensure the elastic laces are not knotted or twisted underneath the tongue, which can restrict the stretch.
Use a clean, dry suede brush to gently brush the nap of the material in one direction to restore its original soft texture.
To ensure the longevity of these trainers, focus on proper care for the suede material. Avoid submerging the shoes in water, as this can ruin the texture and shape of the suede. If the shoes become dirty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface debris. For deeper stains, utilize a dedicated suede cleaner or a specialized rubber eraser to lift marks without damaging the nap. Always allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the suede to harden or shrink.
