Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Installation
The VOUNOT Zebra Roller Blind offers flexibility with its two installation methods:
- Drilling Installation: This traditional method provides the most secure and permanent fixture. It typically involves mounting brackets to the window frame, wall, or ceiling using screws and a drill. Follow the detailed instructions provided in your product manual for specific steps and hardware requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound.
- No-Drilling Installation: For situations where drilling is not preferred or permitted (e.g., rented properties, delicate surfaces), this method often uses adhesive hooks or tension brackets that fit directly onto the window frame. This offers a quicker and less invasive setup. Refer to your manual to understand the specific no-drill components included and their application.
*General Installation Tip*: Always measure your window opening carefully before installation to ensure the blind fits correctly. Ensure the blinds are level for smooth operation.
Compatibility
These blinds are designed for various window and door types that accommodate their 45 x 150 cm dimensions. They are suitable for indoor use in most rooms, including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and offices. Ensure the installation surface is clean and dry for any adhesive-based no-drilling methods.
Care & Maintenance
The VOUNOT Zebra Roller Blind is designed for easy care. To maintain its appearance and functionality:
- Regular Cleaning: Gently dust the fabric with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment on a low setting.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap. Blot the area gently; do not rub vigorously. Allow to air dry completely before rolling up the blind.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or strong detergents, as these can damage the fabric and color.
- Operating Mechanism: Keep the operating chain/cord free from knots or twists to ensure smooth up and down movement.
