Troubleshooting
Pedal is stiff or unresponsive.
Check for any obstructions around the pedal mechanism. Ensure the inner bucket is correctly seated and not preventing the pedal's movement. Clean the pedal area if debris is present.
Lid does not close smoothly.
Verify that the inner bucket is properly aligned and not interfering with the lid's closing path. Ensure the bin is on a level surface, as an uneven base can affect the mechanism.
Odors are escaping the bin.
Confirm that the lid is closing completely. Ensure you are using the correct size Brabantia PerfectFit bin bags and that they are properly sealed when removed. Clean the inner bucket regularly.
Bin is unstable or wobbles.
Ensure the bin is placed on a flat, level surface. Check that the non-slip base is clean and free from debris. The anti-tilting block should prevent significant wobbling.
