While they feature excellent cushioning, they are primarily marketed as a lifestyle and utility trainer rather than a dedicated long-distance running shoe.
Use a mild detergent mixed with water and a soft cloth to gently spot clean the fabric, then air dry in a well-ventilated area.
The ASICS Gel-NYC series generally follows standard athletic sizing; if you typically wear a 10.5 UK in ASICS, this model should fit consistently.
Yes, the provided insoles are removable, allowing you to insert your own custom orthotics if required.
The trainers are not waterproof; they are made of standard textile and synthetic materials that can absorb moisture if exposed to heavy rain.
Consider using a secondary aftermarket insole if you have specific orthotic needs, as the factory insole is designed for general comfort.
Use a soft-bristled brush to clear the tread patterns after walking on gravel or muddy paths.
To ensure the best fit, verify your UK sizing as these models typically offer a standard athletic fit. It is recommended to use thin-to-medium athletic socks to maintain the intended feel of the cushioning. For care, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the specialized Gel cushioning components and adhesive bonds. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent material warping.
