Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These boots are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure the laces are adjusted for a snug, comfortable fit, not too tight to restrict circulation, and not too loose to compromise support. The fit should feel secure around the heel and midfoot, with enough room in the toe box.
Compatibility: The 'FG' (Firm Ground) designation means these boots are designed for use on natural, dry, and firm grass pitches. They are *not* recommended for artificial turf, hard surfaces, or very soft/wet ground conditions, as the stud pattern is optimized for traction on natural grass and could lead to slippage or discomfort on other surfaces.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or a dry cloth. For tougher dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or solvents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape during drying.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and moisture. Ensure they are fully dry before storing to prevent mold or odor development.
