The New Balance 520 is designed for casual, everyday wear and does not provide the technical support required for long-distance or high-impact running.
Use a soft brush to remove dry dirt and a damp cloth with mild detergent for light spot cleaning. Avoid submerging in water or using a dryer.
Generally, New Balance trainers fit true to standard sizing. If you have wide feet, consider testing your fit with thin socks first.
Yes, the insoles are typically removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if preferred.
The 520 series utilizes a mix of durable synthetic and fabric materials designed for daily wear-and-tear resistance.
Wear them indoors for short periods with thicker socks to gently stretch the upper materials.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaner or a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid harsh chemical detergents.
To ensure your New Balance 520 trainers last as long as possible, avoid machine washing. Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dirt after each wear. If the shoes get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the material. For size compatibility, verify your UK foot size before purchase, as the 520 series follows standard adult sizing. Periodically check the laces and ensure the insoles remain clean to maintain the intended support profile.
