The OHS Supersoft Sensory Weighted Blanket is designed for individuals seeking a natural way to reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia through Deep Touch Pressure Stimulation. By providing a consistent 10kg of weight across its 150 x 200 cm surface, it offers a calming, hug-like sensation that promotes deeper relaxation. While it is excellent for improved sleep quality, users should note that the significant weight makes it less suitable for those with certain respiratory or mobility limitations.

No. Due to the 10kg weight, it is not suitable for household washing machines. Spot clean only.
Yes, the blanket uses hypo-allergenic micro glass beads, making it a suitable choice for most allergy sufferers.
A general rule of thumb is to choose a blanket that is roughly 10% of your body weight, though personal preference for deeper pressure may vary.
Yes, but it is designed primarily for a single user's coverage (150 x 200 cm). If sharing a bed, ensure each user has their own weighted blanket for maximum benefit.
No, the micro glass beads used are non-toxic and specifically designed for use in sensory bedding.
Lay the blanket flat on a large surface and gently shake or pat the pockets to redistribute the glass beads evenly.
Ensure that you have securely tied all four corners of the blanket to the interior corner ties of your duvet cover.
Ensure you are using the blanket with a breathable, cotton-based cover rather than synthetic materials which can trap excess heat.
Setting up the blanket is straightforward: simply unfold it over your desired surface. If you intend to use a duvet cover, utilize the integrated loops to tie the blanket corners to the cover's internal ties, which keeps it from sliding. Due to the weight of the glass beads, it is important to handle the blanket carefully. For care, avoid putting the blanket in a washing machine, as the weight can damage your appliance. Instead, spot clean any spills with a damp cloth and mild soap. For regular hygiene, pairing the blanket with a machine-washable duvet cover is strongly recommended to keep the fabric fresh.
