Product Information

Full details

This guide is for anyone looking to enhance the comfort and style of their dining chairs, kitchen stools, or outdoor seating. The Homescapes Seat Pad in Chocolate Brown offers an instant upgrade with its soft cushioning and rich color. A key caveat to note is that the cotton construction may lead to slight shrinkage when washed, and the pads are not waterproof for extended outdoor use.

FAQs

Are these seat pads waterproof?

No, these seat pads are not waterproof. They are designed for comfort and style and should be brought indoors or covered when not in use to protect them from rain and prolonged direct sunlight.

Can I wash the seat pads in a washing machine?

Yes, the seat pads are machine washable at 40°C. However, please note that due to the 100% cotton construction, some shrinkage is to be expected during washing.

What are the dimensions of the seat pad?

Each seat pad measures approximately 40 cm x 40 cm.

How do the seat pads attach to the chair?

They feature sleek straps with buttons that wrap around the chair back for a secure and tidy fit, eliminating the need for untidy ties.

Is this product certified?

Yes, the Homescapes seat pads are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they are tested and certified to be free from harmful chemicals.

Can I buy these in sets?

Yes, while this listing is for a single seat pad, Homescapes also offers these seat pads in sets of four and six, as well as in eleven other colors.

What is the filling of the seat pad?

The seat pad has a fluffy polyester filling that provides soft cushioning.

Troubleshooting

Seat pad doesn't fit securely

Ensure the button straps are fully wrapped around the chair back and securely fastened. For chairs with very thick backs, the straps may not reach.

Color transfer to chair

Wash the seat pad separately for the first wash to check for any excess dye. Ensure the pad is dry before placing it on light-colored furniture.

Seat pad feels lumpy after washing

Gently fluff the cushion after washing and during the drying process. Reshaping while damp can also help distribute the filling evenly.

Shrinkage after washing

This is expected with 100% cotton. Consider washing on a cooler setting (e.g., 30°C) or air-drying to minimize shrinkage. Reshape the pad while damp.
