FAQs

Does this set include darts?

No, this bundle includes the professional dartboard and the wall surround only.

Can I use steel tip darts with this board?

Yes, this board is specifically designed for use with standard steel-tip darts.

What is the diameter of the board?

The board follows standard professional dimensions of 18 inches in diameter.

How do I protect my walls from damage?

The included Xbox-branded surround covers the area immediately surrounding the board, catching most stray darts.

Is the branding permanent?

Yes, the Xbox-themed graphics are integrated into the surround and the board finish for a durable, long-lasting look.

Can this be used outdoors?

It is not recommended to use this board outdoors as moisture and temperature changes will damage the sisal fibers.

Troubleshooting

Darts are not sticking properly

Ensure the dart tips are sharp and not hooked or blunted. Sisal boards require sharp points to penetrate the fibers.

Board seems to be drying out

Keep the board away from direct heat sources like radiators. A slightly humid room is better for long-term fiber health.

Number ring is loose

Check that the number ring is securely clipped into the outer rim of the board. Most rings can be rotated to reposition for even segment wear.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality Madagascan sisal material ensures long board lifespan
Low-profile wiring effectively minimizes annoying bounce-outs
Includes a protective surround to prevent wall damage
Unique Xbox branding creates a standout aesthetic for game rooms

Cons

Requires specific wall mounting clearance for the surround
Branding may not suit traditional or formal home decors
Does not include darts or flight accessories

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, center the dartboard mounting bracket on a wall at the standard height of 1.73 meters (5 feet 8 inches) from the floor to the center of the bullseye. Once the board is secure, slide the surround over the board edges. The surround is designed to fit snugly to provide maximum coverage.

For maintenance, avoid getting the board wet as moisture can ruin the sisal fibers. If the board appears dry after heavy use, you can occasionally rotate the number ring to ensure even wear across different segments. Store in a temperature-controlled environment to prevent the board from drying out or warping.
