Do I need screws or nails to install this?
No, it features a tool-free design that friction-fits around the edge of the dartboard.
Will this stop a dart completely?
Yes, the high-density foam is designed to catch and hold the dart point, preventing it from reaching the wall.
Can the surround be painted?
It is not recommended to paint the foam as it may damage the material or lead to cracking.
How do I clean the surround?

Troubleshooting
The surround feels loose on the board.
Ensure the dartboard is a standard size and the surround is pressed flush against the wall surface.
Surface of the foam looks worn.
Rotate the surround slightly every few months to distribute impact points across the foam evenly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the Winmau Xtreme Dartboard Surround is straightforward:
- Ensure your dartboard is already properly mounted on the wall.
- Gently stretch the surround and slide it over the perimeter of your dartboard.
- The friction fit ensures it sits snugly against the board without shifting.
For compatibility, the surround fits standard boards with an inner diameter of 43.6cm. Regarding care, keep the surround away from direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent foam discoloration or brittleness. If the foam accumulates dust, gently wipe it with a dry microfiber cloth; avoid using liquid cleaners or heavy scrubbing, which could compromise the surface texture.
