Yes, the hood is detachable, allowing for a different look and increased comfort when wearing bulky scarves.
It is strongly recommended to dry clean this jacket to avoid damaging the specialized nylon laqué and down padding.
The nylon laqué is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light snow or drizzle, but it is not intended to be fully waterproof in heavy rain.
Store in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth with mild detergent to gently dab the affected area; avoid rubbing the fabric harshly.
Gently pull the feather back from the inside rather than pulling it out, then rub the fabric to help the hole close.
Shake the jacket vigorously and hang it in a well-ventilated area to allow the down to regain its loft.
To maintain the Badyf jacket, ensure the detachable hood is securely snapped on before use. For care, it is highly recommended to follow professional dry cleaning instructions to preserve the down insulation's loft and the integrity of the nylon fabric. Do not store the jacket in a compressed space for long periods, as this can affect the fluffiness of the down. Spot clean minor stains with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, but avoid submerging in water unless following professional care guidelines.
