Full details
The Arai Tour-X5 Discovery Helmet is a completely redesigned helmet with many new features, prioritizing protection. It features a Shell primarily made of Super Fiber (30% stronger than regular fiberglass) and a detachable peak. The new VAS-A visor system, derived from the VAS-V system for the RX-7V, optimizes gliding ability for better impact energy dissipation, and allows for easier visor and peak fitting/removal. The redesigned visor improves field of vision and gliding ability, is Max Vision ready for Pinlock insert installation, and allows tool-free changes to other visors like Adventure, Off-Road, and On-Road. Side reinforcements are present at the chin strap.
