The Lighthouse Clothing Beachcomber Waterproof Jacket is designed for adult females seeking a lightweight, versatile, and stylish outerwear option for transitional weather. Its key benefit lies in its waterproof, windproof, and breathable construction, offering comfort and protection against rain and wind without overheating. A minor caveat is that while lightweight, it may not provide sufficient warmth for very cold conditions. This classic jacket features a soft-feel fabric, a jersey lining for comfort, a concealed hood, and secure pockets, making it a practical choice for everyday wear.

The jacket has a waterproof rating of 3000mm, meaning it can withstand a moderate amount of rainfall.
While the jacket offers windproof protection and a jersey lining for some warmth, it is designed as a lightweight layer. For very cold weather, layering with additional warm clothing underneath is recommended.
The jacket is machine washable at 40°C using a non-biological detergent. Avoid fabric softener and do not tumble dry; hang it to dry instead.
The jacket features two zipped front pockets and one internal zipped pocket, providing secure storage for your essentials like keys, phone, or wallet.
Yes, the jacket has adjustable drawcords, typically at the hem, allowing you to cinch it for a more personalized fit and to help keep out drafts.
The outer fabric is polyester with a peachy-soft finish, and it features a soft jersey lining.
Yes, it has a concealed, lined, and adjustable hood that can be easily stored away when not needed.
The water repellency may have diminished. Consider washing the jacket according to care instructions and applying a suitable re-proofing agent to restore its waterproof qualities. Ensure all seams are intact.
Gently try to move the zipper back and forth. Clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and allow it to dry. Applying a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or wax can help lubricate the zipper.
Ensure the adjustable drawcords on the hood are tightened appropriately. Check that the hood lining is correctly seated within the jacket.
Ensure the garment is clean, as dirt and residue can affect breathability. If you are engaged in high-intensity activity, consider that even breathable garments have limits. Ensure the internal lining is not damp.
This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear straight out of the packaging. It is compatible with various outfits, from casual jeans and t-shirts to more active wear. Care instructions are straightforward:
