Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Max 97s maintain their look and performance, proper care is essential. Since these shoes use a visible Air unit, avoid walking in deep mud or sharp debris that could compromise the integrity of the air bubble. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the upper, and use a damp cloth with mild soap for the midsole. Always air dry your trainers away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can damage the adhesives and the Air unit. If you need to check your fit, ensure your heel sits securely in the back of the shoe with enough room in the toe box for natural foot expansion.
