Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Before your first use, adjust the speed-lock lacing system. Pull the lace tight evenly across the foot, then secure the lock. Ensure it's snug but not overly tight to prevent discomfort or restricted blood flow.
- Socks: Wear appropriate trail running or athletic socks to enhance comfort, manage moisture, and prevent blisters.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for:
- Terrain: Best suited for natural trail surfaces including dirt paths, gravel, light mud, forest trails, and grassy fields.
- Activity: Ideal for trail running, hiking, Nordic walking, and general outdoor adventures that involve varied terrain.
- Conditions: Perform well in dry to moderately wet conditions. While the upper offers some protection, they are not fully waterproof.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: After use, especially on muddy trails, knock off any large clumps of dirt. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) and mild soap with lukewarm water to clean the upper and outsole. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight, near heaters, or in a tumble dryer, as extreme heat can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the outsole for embedded debris (small stones, twigs) that could affect grip or cause damage. Inspect the lacing system for wear.
