Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Attaching Shoulder Straps: Locate the detachable shoulder straps. Attach the bottom clips to the D-rings located at the base of the duffel, and the top clips to the D-rings near the main zipper opening. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Adjusting Shoulder Straps: Once attached, put on the duffel as a backpack. Adjust the strap length using the buckles until the bag sits comfortably on your back, distributing weight evenly.
- Using Compression Straps: To compress your load, pull the four external compression straps taut. This will reduce the bag's volume and stabilize its contents.

Care
To ensure the longevity of your Base Camp Duffel Bag:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior and interior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive brushes, which can damage the fabric's protective coating. Air dry thoroughly; do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Zipper Maintenance: Periodically clean zippers of dirt or debris. A silicone-based zipper lubricant can help maintain smooth operation.
- Storage: Store the duffel in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Use the included zip mesh storage bag to keep it tidy and protected.
