They are ideal for light hiking, walking, and urban outdoor activities, but they are not categorized as heavy-duty technical hiking boots.
No, machine washing can damage the leather and compromise the waterproof membrane. Clean them manually with a damp cloth.
The TimberCush system is designed for high-rebound cushioning, which generally provides comfortable support for most foot arches during daily activities.
Remove the insoles, stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture, and let them air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat.
Timberland is committed to responsible leather sourcing and often uses leather from tanneries rated for their environmental practices.
Loosen the laces fully starting from the bottom eyelets to adjust the tension of the gusseted tongue.
The protective DWR coating on the leather may have worn off; reapply a specialized leather waterproofing treatment.
Use a soft-bristled brush to clear dirt from between the TimberGrip lugs after walking on muddy terrain.
To ensure the longevity of your Motion Access Trainers, start by ensuring you have the correct size for your foot shape; the gusseted tongue provides a secure fit, so you may find the initial entry slightly snug. For care, avoid machine washing the leather upper. Instead, wipe away surface mud with a damp cloth after each use. Apply a leather-safe waterproof spray periodically to maintain the effectiveness of the outer barrier. Always allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking.
