FAQs
Are these shorts suitable for full-contact rugby matches?
These are replica training shorts. While they are durable for gym work and warm-ups, they may not withstand the heavy wear and tear of full-contact match play.
What material are the shorts made of?
The shorts are crafted from high-quality, durable polyester, chosen for its lightweight and moisture-wicking performance.
Do these have pockets?
These shorts feature a streamlined design focused on athletic performance, minimizing bulky elements like pockets.
How should I choose the right size?
Refer to the standard adidas men's sizing chart; these shorts are available in sizes ranging from XS to XXXL to accommodate various body types.
Can I tumble dry these shorts?
It is recommended to air-dry the shorts to prolong the life of the fabric and the team graphics, but if you must use a dryer, use a low-heat setting.
Troubleshooting
Fabric snagging
Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or sharp objects during gym equipment usage.
Graphic peeling
Always turn the shorts inside out before washing to reduce friction on the logos.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight and breathable polyester material
- Designed for unrestricted movement during squats and lunges
- Stylish replica design suitable for both training and casual wear
- Matches perfectly with the wider adidas rugby training apparel range
Cons
- Specifically designed as replica wear rather than high-impact contact gear
- Available only in a blue colourway
- Requires careful maintenance to preserve the team graphics
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your shorts in peak condition, follow these care guidelines: machine wash in cold water with similar colours to prevent fading. Avoid using harsh bleaching agents or fabric softeners that can degrade the moisture-wicking properties of the polyester. For drying, air-drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the team graphics. Avoid ironing directly over the adidas or team logo. These shorts are compatible with standard male sizes ranging from XS to XXXL.
