The jacket is made from a lightweight woven polyester fabric.
This is a lightweight rain jacket designed for protection against light rain and drizzle. For heavy downpours, a more robust waterproof jacket may be more suitable.
The jacket features a toggle drawstring waist that can be tightened or loosened to achieve your desired fit.
While it's lightweight, it's designed to be layered. Depending on the thickness of the garment underneath, it can accommodate lighter to medium-weight layers.
It is recommended to machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colours and to tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Avoid bleach.
Yes, the jacket features a hooded design for added protection.
This guide specifically refers to the Evans Khaki Green Lightweight Rain Jacket in Size 20.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to work the zipper back and forth. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth.
If the cord is significantly damaged, it may need to be replaced. You can thread a new cord of similar thickness and length through the casing, or seek professional tailoring services.
Over time, the water-repellent treatment can wear off. Consider re-applying a fabric-specific water-repellent spray suitable for polyester, following the product's instructions.
This jacket requires no setup upon purchase. It is designed for direct wear. For care, it is recommended to machine wash the jacket according to the care label instructions, typically on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry to maintain the fabric's integrity. Iron on a low setting if necessary, avoiding direct heat on any printed or embellished areas.
