FAQs

Are these shoes water-resistant?

The leather upper provides some protection, but these are not waterproof. We recommend applying a leather protectant spray.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the leather and the adhesives. Always clean by hand.

Are these suitable for wide feet?

The BW Army features a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find the streamlined T-toe design slightly snug.

What is the primary material used?

The exterior is constructed from premium leather, and the interior features a soft textile lining for added comfort.

Is this a unisex model?

Yes, the BW Army design is categorized as a unisex shoe, suitable for all adults.

Troubleshooting

Creasing in the leather toe area

Natural creasing occurs as leather moves with your foot. Use shoe trees when not in use to maintain the shape.

Surface scuffs on the leather

Apply a matching neutral leather conditioner or cream to help mask minor scratches and keep the material supple.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Timeless, minimalist design that pairs well with many outfits
Durable leather construction stands up to daily wear
Provides a comfortable, secure fit for everyday activities
Classic T-toe styling remains a staple in casual fashion

Cons

Leather requires regular maintenance to keep it looking fresh
Not intended for high-performance sports or heavy gym use
Beige colorway can show dirt more easily than darker alternatives

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your BW Army trainers last, follow these care steps:

Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the leather. For deeper cleaning, apply a dedicated leather cleaner using a soft cloth.
Moisture Prevention: Avoid submerging the shoes in water. If they become wet, dry them naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent leather cracking or fading.
Compatibility: These shoes are true-to-size for adult UK sizing. If you prefer to wear thick athletic socks, consider how they affect your overall fit.
