The Magic Speed 5 is a neutral shoe type. Runners who overpronate may require a stability shoe with more structured support.

These are proprietary ASICS foam technologies. FF LEAP™ + offers excellent responsiveness and energy return, while FF BLAST PLUS provides lightweight, energetic cushioning, both contributing to the shoe's fast feel.

While excellent for race day and tempo runs, they can also be used for some daily training if you prefer a firmer, more responsive ride. However, for recovery runs, a softer shoe might be more comfortable.
