Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Peregrine 16 GTX requires no special setup; simply lace them up and head to the trails. Ensure the laces are tied securely but not excessively tight to allow for foot expansion during longer runs.
Compatibility: These trail running shoes are designed for off-road use. While they can be worn on roads for short distances to and from trails, their optimal performance is on natural surfaces like dirt paths, gravel, mud, and rocky terrain.
Care:
- Cleaning: After a run, remove loose dirt and debris with a soft brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, use cool water and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Never machine wash or tumble dry. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape during drying.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mold development.
