Its key benefit is offering a blend of waterproof functionality and insulation for comfort in wet and cold conditions. The jacket is waterproof and designed to protect against rain. For prolonged exposure to heavy downpours, a more robust technical shell might offer superior protection, but this jacket is excellent for everyday wet weather.
The jacket uses polyester insulation, which offers warmth and retains its insulating properties even when damp.
It provides good warmth for moderate cold. For very cold winter conditions, it is recommended to layer a warm fleece or insulated mid-layer underneath.
Machine wash at 40°C with a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry on a low heat setting.
This specific product description does not mention a hood. Please refer to the product's detailed specifications or images for confirmation.
Warranty information is typically provided by the retailer or manufacturer directly. Please check the product packaging or the Regatta official website for details.
This jacket is specifically designed and cut for women. Men should look for a comparable men's model.
Ensure all zippers are fully closed and check for any seam damage. For older jackets, the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may need reapplication. Follow care instructions for washing and re-treating the fabric.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper. A small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or a silicone-based lubricant can help ease movement.
The insulation provides moderate warmth. For colder conditions, wear additional thermal layers underneath such as a fleece or long-sleeved thermal top.
Refer to the brand's specific sizing chart before purchasing. If the fit is not ideal, check the retailer's return policy for exchanges.
This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase. It is compatible with standard outdoor wear, meaning it can be worn over base layers, t-shirts, or light sweaters.
