Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before applying the paint, the surface must be meticulously cleaned, dried, and degreased; any residual dust or oil will compromise the finish. If you are working with a previously glossy surface, use fine-grit sandpaper to lightly abrade the area to create a "tooth" for the paint to grip. For plastics, always apply a dedicated plastic primer first. Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes before use to ensure the pigments are properly mixed. Always perform a test spray on a scrap piece of material or an inconspicuous area to verify color accuracy and compatibility with the substrate.
