Full details

The Havaianas Puffed Up sandals are designed for adults seeking a blend of classic flip-flop convenience and enhanced structural support for daily errands or casual home relaxation. Featuring a cushioned sole edge and wider, padded straps, these sandals offer a more secure and comfortable fit than traditional flat flip-flops, though they provide less arch support than specialized orthopedic footwear.

FAQs

Are these sandals waterproof?

Yes, they are made from high-quality, water-resistant rubber and are perfectly suitable for the pool or beach.

Do they provide arch support?

While they have more structure than standard flip-flops due to the cushioned edges, they do not feature dedicated orthopedic arch support.

How should I clean my Havaianas?

Use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid machine washing or drying.

Are they true to size?

Yes, they follow standard UK sizing for adult footwear.

Can I wear these for long walks?

They are designed for all-day casual comfort, but are not intended for long-distance hiking or sports activities.

Troubleshooting

Straps feel tight initially

The straps are designed to be slightly snug for support; they will naturally relax slightly with the heat of your feet during the first few wears.

Sole becomes slippery when wet

As with most rubber sandals, wipe the footbed dry after getting it wet to regain traction.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Improved stability compared to standard flat flip-flops
Soft, padded straps minimize skin irritation
Lightweight construction suitable for all-day wear
Durable outsole provides longevity
Versatile black styling

Cons

Lacks advanced anatomical arch support
Not intended for strenuous hiking or uneven terrain
Sole may be slippery if wet

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These sandals are ready to wear immediately out of the box with no break-in period required. To maintain the quality of your Havaianas:

Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that might damage the padded texture.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for extended periods, as high heat can occasionally warp synthetic rubber materials.
Compatibility: The standard sizing fits most adult feet; check the size chart to ensure the correct UK sizing for your specific needs.
