This Lyle & Scott Mesh-Back Softshell Gilet in Black, size L, is designed for adult males seeking versatile, lightweight protection with enhanced airflow for everyday wear. Its key benefit is balancing comfort and free movement through its softshell construction and breathable mesh back. A minor caveat is its primary function as a layering piece, not heavy-duty weather protection. Key features include a mesh-back panel for breathability, softshell material for flexibility, and a regular fit for easy layering, all finished with an embroidered eagle logo.

No, this gilet is made from softshell material and is designed for lightweight protection against wind and light moisture. It is not waterproof and should not be relied upon in heavy rain.
It is best suited for everyday casual wear, light outdoor activities such as walking or golf, and as a versatile layering piece in mild weather conditions.
You can machine wash it at 30 degrees Celsius. Avoid bleach, and tumble dry on a low heat setting. Iron on a low setting if needed.
