Full details
The Saucony Endorphin Azura trainers are designed for adult male runners seeking a lightweight and responsive shoe for daily training and speed work. Their key benefit is providing a smooth, bouncy ride with enhanced energy return thanks to PWRRUN PB foam and SpeedRoll technology, enabling faster transitions. A potential caveat is that they are optimized for speed, which might mean less cushioning for ultra-long, slow runs compared to dedicated maximalist shoes.

FAQs
What type of runner is the Endorphin Azura best for?
The Endorphin Azura is best suited for neutral runners who engage in daily training and speed work. It provides a responsive and cushioned ride for faster miles.
What is the main benefit of the SpeedRoll technology?
SpeedRoll technology is designed to create smoother and quicker transitions from foot strike to toe-off, helping runners maintain momentum and efficiency during their stride.
How does the PWRRUN PB foam differ from standard EVA foam?
PWRRUN PB foam is a PEBA-based superfoam that offers a lighter, bouncier, and more responsive cushioning experience compared to traditional EVA foams, while still providing good durability.
Can I use these shoes for marathon running?
While the cushioning is good for daily miles, dedicated marathoners might prefer shoes with more maximal cushioning for ultra-long distances. However, the Endorphin Azura can be a great option for faster marathon training or for runners who prefer a lighter, more responsive feel over extreme plushness.
What is the drop of the Endorphin Azura?
The Endorphin Azura has an 8mm drop, which is a moderate heel-to-toe offset suitable for many runners and running styles.
How should I clean my Endorphin Azura trainers?
Clean them by hand using a soft brush to remove dirt and a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid machine washing and allow them to air dry naturally.
Are these shoes waterproof?
No, the Endorphin Azura trainers are not waterproof. They are designed for breathability and performance in typical running conditions.
Troubleshooting
Unusual wear on outsole
Ensure you are running on appropriate surfaces (primarily roads). Check for any debris trapped in the outsole tread that might be causing accelerated wear.
Discomfort during runs
Verify that the shoe size and fit are correct. Adjust lacing to find a secure but comfortable tension. Consider if the shoe's drop or cushioning level is suitable for your running style.
Reduced responsiveness over time
The cushioning foam may naturally compact with extensive use. Ensure the shoes are clean and dry, as dirt can sometimes affect performance. If significant wear is visible, it may be time to consider replacement.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Endorphin Azura trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for a comfortable and secure fit. Lace them up snugly but not so tight as to restrict circulation.
Compatibility: These shoes are designed primarily for road running and are best suited for neutral runners. They perform well on asphalt and other hard surfaces. While they offer some versatility, they are not specifically designed for trail running or uneven terrain.
Care:
- Cleaning: After runs, remove loose dirt with a soft brush. For a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents, as this can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can cause the materials to warp or degrade.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Proper storage helps maintain their shape and material integrity.
