The Nike Air Rift Trainers are designed for individuals who appreciate a fusion of unconventional style and ergonomic performance, specifically those interested in the barefoot running aesthetic. These trainers offer exceptional comfort through integrated Air cushioning and a unique split-toe construction, though the distinct design may require a brief adjustment period for those accustomed to traditional closed-toe footwear.

While inspired by barefoot running, they are primarily lifestyle trainers and are best suited for walking and casual activities rather than distance running.
You can wear them barefoot, but if you prefer to wear socks, you will need toe-socks to accommodate the split-toe design.
Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to remove dirt. Avoid using water or harsh chemical cleaners which can discolor or stiffen the suede.
The footbed is designed to be part of the shoe's structure. If it needs cleaning, remove it carefully, wipe it down, and ensure it is fully dry before re-inserting.
The Air Rift fits similarly to other Nike lifestyle trainers, but the adjustable strap allows for a degree of variation in how the shoe feels on the foot.
Adjust the hook-and-loop closure on the heel strap to tighten the tension until the shoe feels secure against the ankle.
Ensure your toes are aligned with the split before sliding your foot forward, or pull the shoe on by the heel strap while keeping your toes extended.
Use a specialized suede brush to buff away surface marks; do not use heavy water-based cleaners.
To achieve the best fit, adjust the heel strap until the foot feels secure without excessive pressure. Because of the split-toe design, ensure you are wearing compatible toe-socks if you prefer to have your toes covered, or wear them barefoot to utilize the intended design. To care for your suede Nike Air Rifts, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dirt after each use. Avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes in water, as this can damage the suede material. If the footbed becomes dusty, remove it periodically to shake out debris and wipe with a lightly dampened cloth.
