Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently before putting on the boots.
- Fitting: Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated in the heel counter. The mid-cut knit collar should feel snug but not restrictive around your ankle.
- Tightening: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (toes) upwards. Pull firmly but evenly, securing a snug fit without creating pressure points. Double-knot for extra security during play.
- Break-in: Like all new football boots, allow for a short break-in period during light training sessions to mold them to your feet before competitive matches.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Sprintplate 360 FG/MG outsole, making them versatile for use on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry and firm.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on excessively muddy, soft ground (SG) or extremely hard ground (HG) as this can damage the studs and reduce performance.
Care
- Cleaning after Use: After each use, remove any loose dirt, mud, or artificial turf granules using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Washing: For deeper cleaning, wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash or submerge the entire boot in water, as this can degrade materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources, which can cause materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the studs and soleplate for wear and tear.
