FAQs

Are these sneakers suitable for running?

No, the Forum 84 is a lifestyle trainer inspired by heritage basketball shoes and is not intended for long-distance running or high-intensity sports.

How should I clean the cream fleece material?

Use a gentle fabric-safe cleaning foam and a soft brush. Do not machine wash, as this may damage the materials and glue bonds.

Do these trainers run true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to size. If you prefer to wear thicker socks, some users recommend going up a half size.

Can these be worn in the rain?

While durable, the fleece material is not waterproof and may absorb moisture, so it is best to avoid heavy rain.

What is the primary material of the upper?

The upper is constructed using a high-quality fleece material that offers a unique texture and premium appearance.

Troubleshooting

Visible dirt on the cream fleece surface

Use a dry, soft-bristled brush to gently lift dirt particles before using a targeted fabric cleaner.

Creasing in the toe box area

Insert shoe trees when not in use to help the upper maintain its original structure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Timeless design suitable for multiple occasions
Soft and premium fleece material aesthetic
Sturdy construction for long-term wear
Neutral colorway easy to pair with most wardrobes

Cons

Fleece materials can be more sensitive to staining than smooth leather
Limited to low-top cut which may not suit all support preferences
Requires careful cleaning to maintain the texture of the fabric

Setup, Compatibility & Care

When you receive your adidas Forum 84s, ensure the fit is snug across the midfoot. For care, avoid submerging them in water due to the fleece material. Instead, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt and a specialized foam cleaner for fabric surfaces. Always let them air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent material deformation or color fading. Ensure you store them in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the fleece texture.
