The Dakota Fields Tuteur Plant Border Support is an ideal choice for gardeners looking to add structure and vertical interest to their flower beds or container displays. Designed for climbing plants and border flowers, this British-engineered accessory promotes healthy, upright growth through its durable solid steel construction. While it provides excellent stability for many garden varieties, users should note that its fixed 56 cm height may require taller varieties to be staked differently once they grow beyond the support's frame.

This tuteur is designed for lighter climbing plants and borders; while it is made of steel, very heavy woody vines may be better suited for permanent, heavy-duty trellising.
Yes, it is available in both black and green finishes to suit your garden aesthetic.
No, the structure features a fixed height of 56 cm.
The high-quality finish is designed to handle outdoor conditions, but storing it during harsh winters will significantly extend its lifespan.
The structure is 48 cm wide, making it suitable for standard pots and narrow border areas.
Ensure the legs are pushed deeper into the ground. If using in a container, use a heavier pot or add decorative stones around the base to lower the center of gravity.
Gently sand the affected area and apply a small amount of exterior-grade metal paint matching the original color.
To set up, push the base legs securely into the soil until the structure is level and immobile. If using in a container, ensure the pot diameter is slightly larger than the 48 cm width of the support for stability. Maintenance is straightforward; simply wipe down with a damp cloth at the end of the season to remove soil buildup. During the winter, inspecting the steel for any deep scratches in the finish is recommended; if detected, touch up with a rust-preventative paint to maintain the integrity of the steel. Store in a shed or garage during extreme winter weather if you wish to prolong the life of the finish further.
