FAQs

Does the chest of drawers come assembled?

Yes, the Colette 2 over 3 Chest of Drawers is delivered fully assembled, so you can use it immediately.

What material is the chest of drawers made from?

It is crafted from a combination of pine and manufactured wood, offering a balance of natural beauty, durability, and value.

Can I choose the handles?

Yes, you can typically choose between wooden or metal handles to customise the look of your chest of drawers.

What are the dimensions of the drawers?

The smaller top drawers measure approximately H 9.5cm x W 28cm x D 29cm, and the larger bottom drawers measure approximately H 13cm x W 62cm x D 29cm.

What colour is the unit?

The unit is finished in a grey colour.

How should I clean the chest of drawers?

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Is this chest of drawers suitable for a small bedroom?

While offering substantial storage, its dimensions are moderate. It's versatile, but its suitability for a small room depends on the room's specific layout and other furniture.

Troubleshooting

Drawers are stiff or difficult to open/close.

Ensure the chest of drawers is on a level surface. Check the wooden runners for any obstructions or debris. Lightly waxing the runners can sometimes improve smoothness.

The unit feels unstable.

Verify that the unit is placed on a flat, even floor. Ensure all screws for the handles are securely tightened. For safety, consider using an anti-tip kit if one is provided or available for your model.

Surface finish appears dull or scratched.

Gently clean the surface with a slightly damp, soft cloth. For minor scratches, furniture polish or a wax designed for wooden furniture may help to conceal them. Avoid abrasive cleaning materials.

Handles feel loose.

From the inside of the drawer, tighten the screws securing the handles. If the screws do not tighten, you may need to use a slightly larger screw or wood filler for a secure attachment.
