Designed by Poul Henningsen, the PH Snowball Pendant Light embodies his commitment to creating glare-free, harmonious lighting. First showcased in 1958 at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art, it was part of the "Glass, Light and Colour" exhibition alongside other iconic designs. Although initially overlooked, the PH Snowball was relaunched in 1983 and has since become a distinguished piece of Danish design. The pendant features eight meticulously arranged shades that form a graceful, spherical silhouette, echoing Henningsen's earlier works like the Contrast lamp and PH Louvre. This thoughtful construction ensures light is distributed evenly, producing a soft and comfortable glow without any harsh glare.
