Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for many seasons, proper care is essential. Since these boots feature a synthetic upper, they are relatively easy to maintain. After a muddy walk, allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the materials to warp or crack. Once dry, use a soft brush to remove dried mud and debris from the lugs. To maintain the waterproof integrity, you may periodically apply a synthetic-specific waterproofing spray once the surface is clean. Ensure you are wearing appropriate hiking socks to optimize the fit of the cushioned footbed and to assist with moisture wicking.
