Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install DrainTex, ensure the surface or trench is clear of sharp debris that might puncture the fabric. When overlapping, provide at least 200mm to 300mm of excess fabric to ensure a continuous barrier against silt migration. If using the material for ground stabilization, ensure the edges are pinned down with ground staples if the fabric is exposed to wind before the aggregate is applied. No specialized chemical care is required, as the material is naturally resistant to ground chemicals and bacteria. If the fabric becomes heavily covered in mud during installation, simply brush off loose debris to ensure the pores remain open before backfilling.
