Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently wind the crown by turning it clockwise while it is in the closed position (pushed in). Wind until you feel some resistance.
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the second position (if applicable for your movement) and rotate to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in.
- Setting GMT: If your GMT function is independently adjustable, pull the crown to the appropriate position (refer to specific movement instructions if available) and adjust the GMT hand. Usually, this is done with the crown in the first position.
- Setting Date: Pull the crown out to the first position and rotate to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
Compatibility:
This watch is a self-contained timepiece. Its compatibility refers to its wearability and integration into your personal style. The standard integrated stainless-steel bracelet fits most wrists, and adjustments can be made by a qualified jeweler or watch technician.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: Refer to the specific water resistance rating of your model. Generally, avoid submerging watches unless explicitly rated for it. Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly after exposure to salt water or chlorinated water.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and magnetic fields when not in use.
