FAQs

Is this pramsuit suitable for all seasons?

It is designed for mild to moderate weather. For colder climates, it is recommended to layer appropriate clothing underneath.

Can I put the scratch mitts away when not in use?

The scratch mitts are integrated into the cuff design, intended to be flipped over the hands when needed and flipped back when the baby wants to explore.

How do I ensure I have the right size?

The sizes range from 0-3 months up to 9-12 months. Refer to the specific variant label for the age range suited to your child's growth stage.

Is the material machine washable?

Yes, the cotton construction is machine washable. We recommend a gentle cycle and mild soap to protect the floral print.

Does it have a hood?

Yes, the pramsuit includes a lined hood to provide additional warmth and protection for your baby's head.

Troubleshooting

The zipper is getting stuck or catching on fabric.

Ensure the fabric guard is flat and not bunched behind the zipper track. Pull the zipper slowly while keeping the protective fabric guard pulled away from the teeth.

The pramsuit feels slightly loose at the back.

Check that the elasticated back panel is positioned correctly across the waist area. The design is intended to contour to the baby, so ensure the suit is pulled up fully over the shoulders.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Easy-access double-zip design simplifies diaper changes and dressing.
Soft, skin-friendly cotton fabric ideal for newborns.
Integrated scratch mitts provide added protection and convenience.
Secure fit provided by the elasticated back design.
Charming, high-quality vintage aesthetic.

Cons

Material may not provide enough insulation for sub-zero winter temperatures.
Floral pattern requires specific care to maintain the vibrancy of the print.
Limited to newborn-specific sizing in certain variants.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This garment is ready for use immediately after purchase. To maintain the integrity of the cotton fabric and the watercolour floral print, it is recommended to wash the pramsuit on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid harsh bleaching agents to prevent fading. Always fasten the zippers before washing to prevent snagging on other items. As the suit is crafted from soft cotton, it is best to air dry or use a low-heat tumble setting to prevent shrinking.
