Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Birkenstocks, adjust the buckles so the straps are snug but not restricting. Since these are leather, avoid getting them soaked, as water can damage the natural material. If they do get wet, allow them to air dry slowly at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators. For maintenance, clean the leather upper with a soft cloth and use a suede/leather brush for the footbed to remove dust or debris. If the footbed becomes slightly darkened over time, this is normal and indicates the materials are adapting to your unique foot profile.
