FAQs
What are the dimensions when closed?
When closed, the fan measures approximately 21cm in length, making it easy to carry in most handbags.
Is this fan suitable for children?
While it is a safe, manual product, it contains small parts and delicate material, so adult supervision is recommended for younger children.
Can the fan get wet?
No, the fan is made of paper and bamboo; exposure to water or high humidity can cause the paper to tear or the bamboo to warp.
Does it require batteries?
No, this is a 100% manual, hand-held fan that requires no electricity or batteries.
How do I repair a small tear in the paper?
Small tears can sometimes be reinforced with a tiny amount of clear archival tape, but care should be taken as the paper is fragile.
Troubleshooting
The fan does not open smoothly
Ensure that the rivet at the bottom is not overtightened and that the bamboo ribs are aligned correctly before attempting to flick it open.
Paper appears loose or wrinkled
Gently smooth the paper while the fan is closed and store it flat to allow the material to regain its shape.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
There is no complex setup required; the fan is ready to use straight out of the packaging. Compatibility is universal as it is a manual, non-electric tool. To maintain the life of your Muiltvoe fan, store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid exposing the paper segments to moisture or rain, as this may compromise the integrity of the material. When closing the fan, ensure the ribs are aligned correctly before folding to prevent unnecessary friction or snagging on the paper surface.
