Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your jacket remains waterproof and warm, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius using a technical cleaner or non-biological detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can damage the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
- Drying: Air dry the jacket in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can melt synthetic insulation.
- Re-proofing: Over time, if water stops beading on the surface, apply a specialized DWR re-proofer spray to the exterior while the garment is clean and damp.
- Storage: Always store the jacket in a dry, cool place on a wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the shape of the hood and shoulder seams.
