Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your coatigan remains in optimal condition, treat it as you would delicate knitwear. Because it is made of polyester, it is generally resistant to shrinking but can be prone to snagging on jewelry or rough surfaces.
- Washing: Use a gentle, cold-water cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit structure.
- Drying: Air dry the garment flat on a drying rack to prevent the material from stretching or losing its shape.
- Storage: Fold the coatigan rather than hanging it for long periods to avoid shoulder dimples or overstretching the fabric.
- Maintenance: If light pilling occurs after frequent use, use a fabric shaver gently to restore the surface finish.
