Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity of your softshell's water-resistant properties. Always consult the garment's internal care label before washing. Generally, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water using a mild, technical cleaner. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can strip away the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the fabric's stretch and finish. If you notice water no longer beads up on the surface, consider applying a garment-safe re-waterproofing treatment to restore performance.
