Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced securely but comfortably. The `lace closure` system allows for a snug fit. Adjust laces before each game or training session for optimal support and to utilize the `off-centre lacing` sweet spot for kicking.
- Initial Wear: Break in your new boots during a few light training sessions before competitive matches to ensure maximum comfort and prevent blisters.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft ground pitches. The sole configuration is optimized for traction on natural grass that is wet, muddy, or soft.
- Not recommended for: Firm ground, artificial grass (AG), or hard surfaces, as this can damage the studs and reduce performance.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose mud and debris using a soft brush or cloth.
- Washing: Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, which can degrade the synthetic materials and foam cushioning.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as this can cause materials to crack or warp.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs for wear and tear. Info needed: Confirm if studs are replaceable on this model and where to purchase replacements if applicable.
